Full Council Meetings involve all elected members from all political groups. The meetings are held every eaight weeks in the Council chamber in Barnsley Town Hall. They are presided over by the Mayor with the Chief Executive and Borough Secretary in attendance. Business of the meeting includes acceptance of minuets from other council and regulatory board meetings. Debate takes place and votes are taken on policies for the governance of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
